I LIVE for this time of year. I HATE shopping, in general, but there is something about Christmas shopping that makes me feel love. I go nuts when it comes to gifts, seriously. I usually start early in the year, when I can, and continue shopping till the last minute, buying as I see things, trying to find the best gifts for people. The closer it gets, the happier I become, singing Christmas songs before Halloween, having stuff wrapped and ready by Thanksgiving when we put up the tree. I just feel like a hyperactive rabid shopping beast by the end of it all, enjoying every second of it, and scaring the crap out of those who are cursing the traffic and crowds (scrooges!!). This year I got to learn the joy of doing some of the shopping online, making life even more fun, and allowing for the gifts to be even better (hopefully).

There is a downside to all this shopping though. It puts me on a willing diet (heh, no going out to eat for me right now..) and I need new clothes (mwahaha, holy jeans of power!), but I decided to screw that and try to get what I have to last till January. But I truly dont care about that (although others are yelling at me for it) But getting things for people makes me far happier then food can, I tell you that! So self destructive though it may seem, my mental health is far more important! =D So here's to all us rabid Christmas fans out there, go, and shop till you drop, and enjoy the season yo! ^.~
